No more squeezing avocados at the supermarket looking for the ripe ones, only to have them turn to mush when you really fancy one at home!
Take your rock hard avocado, wrap it up in tin foil and put in a preheated oven for 8-10 minutes on @ 200°F. Remove from oven carefully, avocado may be a little warm to the touch, let it cool before cutting in half and hey presto, you should have one ripe ready to eat avocado!
Store your cut avocado in the fridge in an airtight container with a few onion slices. The onion will stop the avocado from browning!
