Essential items for your 3-month-old

My son, Liam, is almost 4 months old and I feel like this month has been a whole new world. He wants to be entertained, he’s busier than before and I feel like he actually gets restless or bored sometimes!

Since he can’t do much physically, it’s hard to keep him entertained. But I’ve found a few items that have been lifesavers — and if you have a wiggly, restless little baby they may help you, too.

The Boppy isn’t just for nursing! I love to put it on his play mat for both tummy time and to help working on sitting up. We sing “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” and work on his core muscles.

Boppy Nursing Pillow and Positioner, Sketch Slate Gray: $33.99

This kiddo seriously goes through 3 bibs a day. I’m sure he’s starting to get teeth and the pools of drool are constantly coming out of his mouth. We have plenty of bibs for when he eats solids, but I have found bandana bibs are great to wear during the day and they’re not super bulky.

Carter’s Cotton Jersey Bandana Bibs: $16.99

Aside from our Rock ‘n Play, I have found our highchair to be super handy. As long as your little one can hold their head up well, this chair is completely safe. While I’m cooking in the kitchen, Liam sits next to our island with blocks and rattles. Since he can still see me, he feels comforted.

Graco Table2Table Premier Fold 7-in-1 Convertible High Chair: $166.96

Most teethers seem to be too heavy for Liam, but we’ve found this quirky broccoli one by Appeteether that is perfect. Liam can easily hold it, it comforts his gums and he goes crazy for it when he sees it. They also have a bacon and chicken wing one that are on his Christmas list.

Little Toader Teething Toys, Broccoli Bites: $6.64

We listen to music all day in our house. Liam loves the >Rockabye Baby series, which streams for FREE with Amazon Prime music. They turn your favorite artist’s music into lullabies and it’s so catchy! Lisa Loeb has a great nursery rhyme collection that is totally tolerable (which is hard for kids music!).

Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of The Beatles, Free with Amazon Prime or $10.99-$12.74; Nursery Rhyme Parade! An Amazon Music Original by Lisa Loeb, Free with Amazon Prime or $8.99-$12.99

How do you keep your little one entertained? I need tips!
